A memorial to loss and memory, the piece can only be fully experienced by viewing the interior through a small hole.


The use of mirrors produces an apparently infinite tunnel view producing a slightly curved road of poppies.

I was interested to learn that (if extended vertically) the sides of the Lutyens Cenotaph in Whitehall, London would meet a mile above the ground.


I like the idea that a very wide circle is implied by the slight curve in the 'road' view in Remembrance which just might be a mile in circumference!
